What Is My Favourite Weather?

Daily writing prompt
What is your favorite type of weather?

Favourite weather. My favourite weather has to be that perfect spring day—cool but not cold, a light breeze, and just enough warmth to sit outside comfortably for hours. It’s the kind of weather that naturally slows things down and lets you focus on what you’re doing.

For me, that usually means being out fishing for salmon.

Why Spring Is My Favourite Weather

Spring feels balanced. It’s not too hot, not too cold, and everything around you feels like it’s starting fresh again. That balance makes it easier to stay present and enjoy the moment without distractions.

That’s a big reason why it stands out to me. It creates the right conditions to focus, think clearly, and just take things as they come.

Fishing and the Value of Patience

Fishing for salmon is where that really comes into play. You can’t rush it, and you definitely can’t force results. You cast your line, you wait, and sometimes nothing happens for a while.

That’s where patience comes in.

In a world where everything moves fast, fishing forces you to slow down. There’s no instant result, no quick win. Just time, consistency, and the need to stay steady.

How It Applies to Everyday Life

That same patience carries into everything else I do. Whether it’s building something long-term, learning, or growing digital assets, the process is very similar.

You show up, you put in the work, and you don’t expect immediate results. Over time, those small actions start to build into something bigger.

Final Thought

That’s why this is my favourite weather. It’s not just about the temperature—it’s about the mindset it brings.

Sometimes the best progress comes from slowing down, staying consistent, and trusting the process.

What’s your favourite weather, and what does it teach you?
